Welcome! I’m Liz Ottosson, a UK-based professional proofreader, editor and translator who helps writers polish their prose and communicate effectively and with ease. I have over twenty years of experience, and at a recent estimate I have proofread over one million words and translated a further three million words from Swedish, Danish and Norwegian into English. I’m an intermediate member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and am qualified via the Publishing Training Centre. I’ve worked with Scandinavian government agencies, businesses, activist groups and authors. I offer proofreading and editing services, as well as translation, localisation, editing and proofreading from Swedish, Danish and Norwegian into English.
I live in north-east England with my partner, and can generally be found curled up with a book or running very slowly towards the nearest green space.
